Kodigo Price Tracker privacy policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Short version: everything stays on your device. The extension does not collect, send, sell or share any of your data.
Who we are
Kodigo Price Tracker is a browser extension made by Kodigo Labs (kodigolabs.com). It helps you track the prices of products on Shopee Philippines and Lazada Philippines. It is not affiliated with Shopee or Lazada.
What the extension stores
When you choose to track a product, the extension saves the following in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device:
- the product name, store, product link and product ID;
- the prices you saw when you visited the product, with the date and time of each visit;
- the target price you set, if any.
This information is used only to show your tracked list and to alert you when a price drops or reaches your target.
What the extension does not do
- It does not send your data to Kodigo Labs or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it.
- It does not use analytics, ads, cookies or tracking of any kind.
- It does not read your Shopee or Lazada account, orders, messages, addresses or payment details.
- It does not run on websites other than shopee.ph and lazada.com.ph.
- It does not make requests to the stores in the background. It only reads the product page you opened.
- It does not sell, rent or share data, and it does not use data for credit or lending decisions.
Permissions
- Storage: to save your tracked list on your device.
- Notifications: to show price drop and target alerts.
- Access to shopee.ph and lazada.com.ph: to read the name and price of the product you are viewing and to show the "Track price" button.
Export, import and deleting your data
You can export your list to a JSON file from the extension's toolbar popup, and import it again later. Exported files are saved where you choose and are not sent anywhere. To delete a product, click Remove in the popup. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its stored data from your browser.
Children
The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If a future version needs to handle data differently (for example, optional sync in a Pro plan), we will update this page and the date above before releasing it, and any such feature will be opt-in.
