How to make a QR code
- Choose the type: a link or text, Wi-Fi login, contact card, SMS or email.
- Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- Optionally change the size, colours, error correction and margin.
- Scan the preview with your phone camera to test it, then download it as PNG or SVG, or copy the image and paste it into Messenger, Canva or Word.
Good uses: a menu link on restaurant tables, the Wi-Fi password for your café, boarding house or Airbnb, your Facebook or Shopee shop page, a Google Maps pin for your store, a contact card on your business card, or a pre-filled SMS for orders.
Example: a Wi-Fi QR code for your shop
Say your network is Kape't Bahay with the WPA2 password salamat;2024. The tool creates this text inside the QR code: WIFI:T:WPA;S:Kape't Bahay;P:salamat\;2024;;. The semicolon in the password gets a backslash so phones read it correctly. Print it, stick it on the counter, and customers can join by pointing their camera at it, no need to spell out the password.
Payment QR codes (GCash, Maya, QR Ph)
This tool cannot create a payment QR code. A GCash, Maya or bank QR Ph code must be generated inside the e-wallet or bank app itself, because it carries your account details and checks that only the provider can produce. Download that QR from your app and print it as is. Do not trust anyone who offers to "make" a payment QR for you from a website.
Static codes that never expire
Some QR websites give you a short redirect link that stops working when a free trial ends. Codes made here are static: the content is stored in the QR pattern itself, so they work forever, with no account and no scan limit. Everything is generated in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a GCash, Maya or QR Ph payment QR code here?
No. A payment QR code has to be generated inside your e-wallet or bank app (for example the "Receive money" or "My QR" screen), because it contains account details and security data that only your provider can create. This tool cannot make a payment QR. Use it instead for things like menus, Wi-Fi, your Facebook page, a contact card or a Google Maps link.
Will my QR code expire?
No. The codes made here are static: the link or text is stored inside the QR pattern itself, not on a server. They work forever and have no scan limits. The only catch is that you cannot change the content later, so if your link changes you need to make a new code.
Is my Wi-Fi password or contact info sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is drawn entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, including Wi-Fi passwords, is uploaded to us or anyone else.
Why will my QR code not scan?
The most common reasons are low contrast (light colours on a light background, or a light code on a dark background), a code printed too small, too much text, or a margin that is too thin. Keep the code dark on a light background, leave a margin of at least 2–4, and print it at least 2–3 cm wide. Always test with your own phone before printing.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is an ordinary picture that works everywhere: Messenger, Facebook, Word and most printers. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, so it is better for tarpaulins, posters and stickers sent to a print shop.
